Agua Moana is a tourist apartment for up to 4 guests in the centre of Málaga, a few minutes’ walk from Plaza de la Merced and the historic centre. It has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, lift access, private parking and a rooftop swimming pool with views of Gibralfaro.
The apartment is set within a recently built three-storey building inspired by traditional Andalusian architecture, and looks onto a classic Andalusian courtyard. Inside, natural textures, warm tones and simple details create a Mediterranean feel that invites you to slow down. The streets of the old town are close, but the courtyard keeps the noise of the city at a distance.

Both bedrooms have queen-size beds (150 × 200 cm) and look onto quiet courtyards, so rest comes easily even in the centre of the city. The first has a large built-in wardrobe and views over the central Andalusian courtyard. The second has a desk for remote working and a small hanging rack, a calm place to work or simply read. Natural materials and warm, earthy tones give both rooms a relaxed Mediterranean feel.
The main bathroom has a walk-in shower, a large sink area, a big mirror, a hairdryer and natural light from outside. A second bathroom, with WC, sink and extra storage, means four people can get ready without waiting for each other.
On the roof of the building, a swimming pool looks towards the Gibralfaro castle. It is a place for a swim in the morning, some sun after a day in the city, or a quiet moment above the rooftops of Málaga.
Two pool chairs are provided in the apartment, ready to take up to the roof whenever you want. After exploring the old town, the pool is only a lift ride away.
The living and dining room has a large chaise sofa, a smart TV and a table for four. It opens onto the traditional Andalusian courtyard, bringing light and a sense of openness to the rest of the apartment. It is a good place to share a meal, plan the next day, or do very little at all.
The kitchen has a full-size fridge, oven, hob, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, along with pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery. We leave the basics ready: oil, salt, vinegar, sugar, a few coffee capsules and washing powder. Your first breakfast doesn’t depend on finding a shop open.
Málaga has changed. Quietly, carefully, and very much for the better.
The historic centre is compact enough to explore on foot, and rich enough to reward every detour. The Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Picasso Museum, the Carmen Thyssen. A cultural offer that has grown without losing its character.
Beyond the museums, the city has a texture worth discovering. The covered market of Atarazanas. The old quarter at dusk. The neighbourhood of Soho, where independent restaurants and galleries have settled comfortably alongside each other.
Málaga is not a city that exhausts itself in a weekend. It gives you more the longer you look.

Málaga’s beaches are not something you have to plan for. From the city centre, the sea is minutes away.
La Malagueta sits at a comfortable walking distance from the centre. Far enough to feel like a destination. Close enough to fit into an afternoon without rearranging your day.
Further along the coast, Pedregalejo and El Palo offer a quieter, more local experience. Fresh seafood, traditional chiringuitos, and a pace that slows down naturally the further east you go.
Staying in the centre means the beach is an option, not a commitment.
