Some homes are designed to be admired. Entre Hayas was designed to be lived in slowly. The brief started with a simple question: what should it feel like to spend a day here, from the first coffee in the morning to a long dinner with friends, or a quiet evening alone?
To answer it, we looked beyond the house itself, to the landscape that surrounds Pamplona.
In the forests of northern Navarra, the landscape is experienced through small sensations rather than grand gestures: silence, the shelter of the trees, the texture of damp earth, and light filtering through the canopy as it changes during the day.
The home brings that experience indoors. It is not designed to impress at first sight, but to be discovered gradually, through layers of warm lighting, textured natural materials and a palette drawn from Navarra: stone, wood, earthy tones and the muted greens found among the trees.
The house is organised around what matters most in its owner’s everyday life: cooking for the people she cares about, welcoming guests, creating moments together and enjoying the quiet when she is on her own.
Here, hospitality is not an added function but part of the architecture. Spaces for gathering lead naturally into calmer corners to read, share a meal or simply rest.
