A two-bedroom holiday apartment on Calle Victoria, in the centre of Málaga
Victoria Moana is a tourist apartment for up to 4 guests, on the second floor of a classic four-storey building on Calle Victoria, a few steps from Plaza de la Merced, where Picasso was born. It has two double bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, lift access and a private balcony overlooking the street.
We kept what makes the building what it is: the marble floors, the decorative ceiling mouldings, the proportions of an older Málaga. Around them, we added the comfort a stay needs today. The bedrooms face a quiet inner courtyard, and the living room opens onto the balcony, so rest is on one side and the city on the other. The historic centre, its museums and its restaurants are all within walking distance.

Both bedrooms have queen-size beds (150 × 200 cm) and look onto a quiet inner courtyard, so they stay calm even in the centre of the city. The first has a built-in wardrobe, soft beige tones and floral wallpaper. The second has a clothing rack and a bold modern painting that sits against the building’s classic details.
The bathroom, shared by both rooms, has a walk-in shower, a generous sink area, a large backlit mirror and a hairdryer. Everything you need to rest and get ready is on this side of the apartment, away from the street.
The living and dining room has a large sofa, an armchair, a smart TV and a table for four, with original marble floors and ceiling mouldings. It opens directly onto Calle Victoria and a private balcony, bringing in natural light and the life of the neighbourhood.
The balcony is a place for a morning coffee or an evening pause above the street. During Easter week, some of Málaga’s most important processions pass right below, and you can experience them from above, at your own pace.
The kitchen has a full-size fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, coffee machine and toaster, along with pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery.
We leave the basics ready: oil, salt, vinegar, sugar, a few coffee capsules and washing powder. Your first breakfast doesn’t depend on finding a shop open.
Málaga has changed. Quietly, carefully, and very much for the better.
The historic centre is compact enough to explore on foot, and rich enough to reward every detour. The Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Picasso Museum, the Carmen Thyssen. A cultural offer that has grown without losing its character.
Beyond the museums, the city has a texture worth discovering. The covered market of Atarazanas. The old quarter at dusk. The neighbourhood of Soho, where independent restaurants and galleries have settled comfortably alongside each other.
Málaga is not a city that exhausts itself in a weekend. It gives you more the longer you look.

Málaga’s beaches are not something you have to plan for. From the city centre, the sea is minutes away.
La Malagueta sits at a comfortable walking distance from the centre. Far enough to feel like a destination. Close enough to fit into an afternoon without rearranging your day.
Further along the coast, Pedregalejo and El Palo offer a quieter, more local experience. Fresh seafood, traditional chiringuitos, and a pace that slows down naturally the further east you go.
Staying in the centre means the beach is an option, not a commitment.
